Abama’s Golf Academy offers facilities for beginners and experts alike, including a driving range and chipping and putting greens. The 5-hectare practice area encompasses three par-3 holes for less experienced golfers and our highly qualified golf professionals are available to aid players of every level.

ABAMA GOLF ACADEMY
Rising up the west face of the Teide Volcano, Abama Golf course was created by world renowned golf designer Dave Thomas. The immaculately maintained 18 hole championship course contains over 300 species of subtropical plant life, including over 20,000 palm trees. Almost all of the holes of the course have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.
With 22 lakes spread throughout the course´s ever changing terrain, as well as waterfalls and white sand bunkers, the course is challenging enough to test even the most experienced golfer.

Club Hire
Abama Golf provide clients with TaylorMade golf clubs for rental should you wish to do so whilst they on vacation
Changing Rooms
Abama Golf provide complete changing room facilities with lockers and fresh towels for clients.
Pro Shop
All clients who wish to play must check in with the reception staff at the Pro Shop. There is a fine selection of apparel, shoes and equipment to purchase. All the major golf brands including Nike, Peter Millar, Adidas, Footjoy and Under Armour, Ecco and Taylormade are supplied.
